Schuhl Co is run by me, Dan Schuhl. I was a controller by 25, first for a residential real estate developer, where I did the accounting, ran the finance, and built the tools the whole company ran on, and then for a commercial general contractor, where I honed my accounting and back office skills. At the developer I ran project financing end to end: sizing the investor capital each project needed, managing construction loans, and taking rent-stabilized refinancings from negotiation to close, with every investor dollar tracked to a specific project. I have an accounting degree and an MBA from Penn State.
